Pastor
Tawana Ricks
Pastor Tawana was raised in the church and was singing by the time she could talk. With her younger sister Theresa “Treety” Williams and Tawana would display their gifts by singing duets at St. Paul’s UAME Church in Wilmington. Her love for the singing ministry grew as she actively participated in various local and national groups and choirs including the Gospel Vessels, Minster Walter Brown & Praise, and Linda Henry and the Daughters of Faith. Ministering to large crowds at the Bobby Jones Show and the Gospel Music Workshop of America helped to prepare Tawana for the call that God was placing on her life……a call to evangelize to the masses about a God that can heal and deliver.
In 2003 Elder Tawana Ricks, was ordained into the office of Pastor and served as the Assistant Pastor of the Glorious Full Gospel Tabernacle Center.
Elder Ricks and her husband launched out in 2009 to develop their personal ministry while assisting other local churches.
In April 2017, Pastor Tawana and Pastor Chaun was chosen and installed as the pastors of The Glorious Full Gospel Tabernacle Center affectionally known as The Glorious Church.
